Premier Elite V6.05 release (26.10.23) Texecom are pleased to announce the release of a new version of Premier Elite firmware. The following changes have been completed and are provided from today on Texecom Cloud for upgrade over the air and will be shipping from Texecom from Monday 13th November 2023. Deactivate walk test mode when menu auto logs out Engineers have seen scenarios where the panel was put in walk test mode, the panel has auto logged out, and the zones remained in walk test. Premier Elite systems now deactivate walk test when the menus are exited automatically. Confirm devices alert after an OTA upgrade When an Over the Air (OTA) firmware upgrade is completed on Premier Elite systems with wireless keypads, the keypad could show a Confirm Devices alert. This has now been rectified. Improved address validation on Premier Elite 32XP expanders If a Premier Elite 32XP is set to network address 6 or above on a Premier Elite 168 or 640, it will no longer erroneously overflow onto the next network. Ricochet devices learn on as default mode Ricochet devices were placed in to sleep mode after being learnt on to the system until the zone menu is exited. They then appeared to take some time to wake up and as such engineers interpreted this as a faulty device. The devices are now set in default mode meaning they will respond immediately when they are learnt to a system. Instant Arm and Timed Arm enabled on dual tech wireless devices Dual tech wireless devices were omitted from remote arming of systems from Texecom Connect App, when Instant Arm option 58 is enabled. We strongly recommend customers update firmware on any wireless systems with dual tech devices that are typically armed from Texecom Connect. Quick Arm fix If using Quick Arm with timed exit, the arming would be prevented by an open entry/exit zone. This has now been corrected. Preparing to arm improvement When arming a system, the display would freeze if a dual tech wireless device (hybrid mode) failed to communicate. A “Failure to arm Zxxx” message is now displayed with a zone identifier (Zxxx). Users can override this failure and arm the system by re-entering a user code. Improved error message If a dual tech wireless device, (hybrid mode) doesn’t respond when the system is being armed, or if a device couldn’t be put into walk test mode, the error message “Radio Conf failed” was displayed, this has been enhanced to report “No response from Zxxx” or the name of the zone. Supervision fault arm override In the event that a supervision fault is present when arming the system, (caused by a wireless device not communicating) it is now possible to override and continue to arm the system. Engineers are presented with an option to continue to arm and can enable this by pressing Yes. Upgrade Options Premier Elite V6.05 is available via the Texecom Cloud where systems are connected via a SmartCom or SmartCom 4G communicator. It can also be downloaded from our website (login required). |
