Premier Elite V6.02 Release
Texecom has released Premier Elite V6.02 firmware.
This release resolves an issue with V6.01 firmware and wireless dual technology devices. When used with Premier Elite control panels running V6.01 firmware, Premier Elite DT-W and Capture D20-W models were not correctly configured when in ‘Hybrid Mode’ operation, resulting in device batteries needing to be replaced prematurely.
Please note: This issue did not affect Premier Elite V5.xx versions of firmware.
For systems running Premier Elite V6.01 that are using Texecom wireless dual technology motion sensors, we strongly recommend you upgrade to V6.02 at the earliest opportunity,
to avoid prematurely replacing batteries.
If systems are not using dual technology devices there is no need to update to this version.

Premier Elite systems now include a new communications menu item - ‘Monitor Mode’.
Monitor Mode simplifies the SmartCom communicator setup process. Monitor Mode can be used to setup a SmartCom for:
Texecom Connect – end user app
Texecom Cloud – remote management and maintenance
Texecom Monitor – new primary alarm signalling service (once available)

Premier Elite V5.04.01 firmware resolves an issue where PSU faults were incorrectly reported. In addition it provides improved power supply monitoring and fault reporting, and resolves an issue that caused undue stress to 1.5A revision 5 PSUs. Premier Elite V5.04.01 firmware includes additional functional enhancements and minor bug fixes, including:
Premier Elite 32XP-W wireless expander data enhancements, which improves robustness when power cycling or flash upgrading the control panel.
